I like this place - quick, affordable & friendly
Hapina is an enjoyable experience for a family looking for a family friendly restaurant in the lovely five towns area.
Nice seating, quick service, generous portions...just a nice place.
Hapina Middle Eastern grill
They could swap their 25 watt bulbs with something a little brighter. There were only three tables occupied out of about 20. There appeared to be one waitress for the entire place. Our party of 3 (one child) was seated quickly, given menus, four sample salads and 3 warm... pita breads. Our orders were taken quickly. The waitress explained the options. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be ready, which is strange considering how empty the place was. We ordered 2 entrees which included 4 side dishes. It was more than enough and we needed a doggie bag. Total cost including tax: 35.74, fair but not a bargain. The food was good, not spectacular. In my opinion, for a budget meal you can do better at k-roasters. For a fancy meal you can go to Chosen Island and pay just a little more (about $40-$45) for more and better food. Overall I give it 6 out of 10.
