Freshly ground all natural beef, hand cut USDA choice steaks, and package plans to fill your freezer. We also have fresh produce, dairy, frozen goods, etc. Our retail shop is backed by our wholesale buying power, which means we pass the savings on to you. We have farm fresh poultry, pork, all natural lamb, and of course only the most tender beef money can buy all at prices lower than your local market.

Quality, your grill will be happy
We moved to the area from Texas, aka beef country. The quality of LL meat is up to the standards of what I got as a kid growing up on a farm/ranch. Compare one of their packages to the same amount of meat from stop and shop, or even Big Value, and you will see you are... saving an average of $1/lb. Thats huge. We go about once every month or so, someday I am going to buy the big package, and not have to go back for 6 months. I never had a problem with Sven, the interim owner, as they were very fast to correct any failings on their part. However, the previous owners who are now back in charge have a great reputation, and I am looking forward to grilling their pork chops as well.
Great service
Litchfield Locker is back under former management. As "newbies," we had 1/2 a cow butchered and we were walked through the transaction. Everything was wrapped well and all aspects of the process were explained to us. We would highly recommend their services.
Fresh Meats - Great Values
Every year I purchase from the Value Packages and absolutely love the fresh chicken and meats. Everyone that works there is friendly. I personally never had an issue with the Locker and I come back 2-3 times a year as I am an out of towner.

I have eaten the meat from the butcher shop at Litchfield Locker several times and it is always delicous. It is nice to shop for meat where the people who work there are experienced. The prices are pretty good also! It is worth the stop.
Litchfield Meat Locker is no longer trustworthy.
My husband and I and our friends relied on Litchfield Meat Locker for years to cut and package the beef and pork we bought from Haut Boy Hill Farm. We have recently gotten pork from the Meat Locker and received no bacon and only two pounds of sausage from the pig. The... meat locker is withholding items that should have been given to us in the order. We are not the only people who have been missing items from the Meat Locker now that they are under new ownership. We will be looking for new meat packers for our next meat order. They can not be trusted.
