Very Unprofessional.
The nicest people in the facility are the receptionists. When you actually get into a room to be examined the nurses are very unprofessional and treat you like some idiot off the street. And get this one. The Doctor prescribes me a medication for an infection, however I... had a reaction to the medicine. When I called back and asked the Doctor if their was another way of treating this infection, He replied, you don't really need the medicine anyway, just continue to keep the area clean. LOL! Can you believe this! Then why did he give me the presciption in the first place with instructions. I paid $45.00 for it and now I can't use it and I still have the infection. Stay away from this place. These people seem to be frustrated with their own lives and in my opinion should not be seeing people who are in need of medical attention.
Expensive!
Please do not go here if you have a "minor illness or injury" as the website recommends. My husband called Medi Quick to ask if he should go there for medicine for an ear infection. The receptionist said yes. Not only did he have to go twice because his ear ache did not... subside, but he had to wait three additional weeks for it to go away on its own. We assumed Medi Quick was a walk-in clinic similar to the Midstate Clinic in Wallingford. However, it is NOT a clinic or a hospital. Apparently, it is somewhere "in-between" and will thus charge you whatever they want. We received two co-pay bills for $75 each. We have really good insurace, so this is an outrageous amount to pay for an ear infection that wasn't even helped. I hope I can get the word out to others before you are tricked into paying way too much money for a "minor illness or injury."
