Bad News
We contracted and pre-paid for tents for a Spring and Fall event. They never provided the tent sides for the Spring event but promised to upgrade to a larger tent for the Fall event as compensation. Then they never showed up for that event and were completely unreacha...ble. After 6 months of physically trying to track them down, we finally got our refund. So not only did we have to hold our event with no tent, they never even apologized and intended to keep our money. We have since found another local tent company that delivers as promised. Very refreshing after our horrible experience with Middletown Tents!
Middletown tents
On time and their people are friendly. Quality people that are very helpful.
Not what I expected
I reserved a tent for a Graduation/18th Birthday. The tent arrived early but I was told it was the wrong type of tent and they would return with the correct tent. The tent never showed up and I was unable to get in touch with the office to get any update. Finally two... days after the event I talked to owner and was told it was my fault for not knowing the different tents. Never given an apology or an explaination as to the error that satisfied me. My 50 guests didn't have tables, chairs or a tent and it rained that day. This wasn't the most wonderful experience with this company. I had used them before and was very happy. This disappointed me to say the least since I do like to use local vendors.
wonderful
great local company with a personal touch. They were on time with delivery, quick set up, and quick pick-up. I would highly reccomend Middletown Tents to anyway interested in supporting a locally owned business.
