Business history: The MiniMoves concept was born when president and founder, Jack Arslanian, pledged to fill a void in the moving industry – no one properly serviced America's small shipments. Jack wanted to create a company that could provide full service solutions for people moving just a small number of items. Shipments of this size are typically too small for van lines and too large for mail carriers. MiniMoves was created in 1991 and has been giving small move customers the full service treatment ever since. MiniMoves initial target markets were college students and art galleries, which later developed into corporations looking to relocate their entry or mid-level new hires. Over 20 years later MiniMoves has expanded to over 50 locations, decreased its transit time to 7-15 business days, and has expanded its service markets to international and military coverage. MiniMoves has proven that big things come in small packages.

I was relocating
I was relocating for a new job and MiniMoves were awesome. They came on time, loaded everything up (I had about 26 boxes of varying sizes and weights) within 45 minutes, and were on their way. I moved down here less than a week later and about 3 days afterwards, got the... call they were coming to deliver. Both guys on either end were pleasant and professional. My property was delivered in a timely fashion, intact. Also, the contact agent I spoke with (the one you speak with initially to get all your ducks in a row, so to speak) was very pleasant as well. Granted, a couple of the boxes I had were a bit mangled when they were delivered but such is the process of working with a freight company...Other than that, no blatant/upsetting damage. The whole thing was cost-effective for someone working with a small budget and easy in working through their process. Really appreciative of this and hope someone else will benefit from this post. I am very, very grateful for Mini Moves. I can't say enough good things about them. Shipping my belongings from Chicago to New Hampshire was seamless. My mother decided to downsize her home several months ago. Her house sold quickly. She had a number of antiques th...at she wouldn't fit in her new apartment. I had about a week to find a mover to ship home the few pieces that I couldn't part with. I stumbled across Mini Moves online. Like most moving companies, I found mixed reviews. I understand that this is not a perfect industry. It's easy for problems to arise when shipping our belonging across town, not to mention cross country. What stood out to me was that the President/CEO took the time to reply to every complaint about a move using his company. So I called them. The booking agent couldn't have been nicer

I used their service recently. I was nervous because they did not give me exact time to pick up my stuffs. I had to reserve the elevator in my new place. They were on time, in fact, got my place 15 minutes earlier. They were very professional and efficient..! It took o...nly 2 hours and half to finish up all moves! I loved their services and fast loading & unloading. Their estimates were based on items that you move. Anyhow, I recommended minimoves if you have small stuffs to move and don't have a lot of furniture. q
I think when you're planning
I think when you're planning a move you might not anticipate how much stuff you have and how much time it will take. We were given an hourly rate and an estimate based on our description of our stuff. In reality, on move day, we had a lot more stuff and it took a lot ...longer than I had anticipated. While we were extremely prepared to move and it still took 7 hours. We were given an estimate of 2,000lbs of stuff, but in reality we had about 7,000lbs of stuff. But my husband and I felt that the workers never slacked off and did a reasonably good job moving our things. They were professional and nice guys. We value that they provided a good service and were attentive to our requests.
We used this moving
We used this moving service recently and were overall satisfied with their service and work ethic. We ended up moving a lot more stuff than we expected. Honestly, I searched many reviews of moving services. I would recommend this service again - especially if your move is local.
