This salon is wonderful. It's exactly the type of establishment that Old Town Scottsdale needs - a place that isn't filled with stuck up, fake, cold employees who are only after your money. If you're looking for a salon that's silent, listens to elevator music, and do...es the bare minimum in order to get you out the door this place isn't for you. I went here yesterday and was pleasently surprised. The atmosphere was fun, the music had variety, the people were friendly and welcoming, and they were very good at their field. My hair stylist (Nate) did a wonderful job highlighting and lowlighting my hair. He explained what he was doing and was even able to figure out ways to utilize chemicals that were less damaging! Then, I was really surprised, Monet, the owner was even giving me styling types while I was sitting in the chair. Manae at Moderen Hair Junkie did my Flare Eye Lashes and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my eyes look! They really make your eyes pop... I love the work she did. Easy, pain free and FAST! Cheapest price I've found!!!

I make the mistake by going to a non licensed hair stylist to do my hair extensions, needless to say "Ashley's Hair Studio" messed up my hair! It was a total mess... I had Manae do a set of hair extensions on me a few weeks ago and she is the best hair extension tech I've come acrossed. I've been having hair extensions done for 10 years and Manae is far more experienced in the art of hair extensions then any other stylist I've come ...across. During our initial consultation, she explained to me what method would best suit my hair type. I have extremely fine and over processed hair that has been breaking from past methods I've had done on my hair. Manae explained to me a new European method called Euro Locks. I had her do them on my hair and I feel in love instantly. She ended up custom coloring my hair and cutting my hair into layers and noone believes that I have hair extensions in my hair.
