Narrows Restaurant

Yesterday I had lunch at the Narrows Restaurant and I was disappointed. For many years I have had lunch or dinner at the restaurant when I go to the Eastern Shore and have always thought the meal was great, yesterday was a let down. My wife and I ordered ice tea to st...art and it came as clear water, and when asked for something with a little more color, it came back a little darker, but still not ice tea. The real downer was the Maryland Vegetable Crab Soup. We both order the soup and it came with almost no crab. Lots of cabbage, but no crab. Also part of the vetetables looked like they came from a frozen bag, not fresh. My wife had the Tempura Lobster tail and it was good, but my Calamari was over cooked. My husband I were visiting from Florida. We are originally from the Maryland/Virginia area. We were both born in the area. So, we know good seafood and good restaurants. In fact, we used to own a restaurant in Maryland. Five adults and one child were in our party. ... What an enjoyable time! The crab cakes, and steak were terrific.
