Im impressed
ok- so i needed 6 tuxs for a corp event we needed to attend. me and my co workers are big guys and thank god this lady olga had the right tuxs or else i would have been screwed. after we got the tuxs we relized they do limos also- got a preety sick deal on that. it was ...nice to get the tuxs and the limos all in one spot esp since the price and the location was key. i dont normally write reviews but since i had good treatment- i figure i say thank you
Great Tuxedos!!!
This place was unreal. As soon as I walked in I was helped and by people that actually who actually knew what they were talking about. They had a great selection and made sure that the tux fit perfectly.
I know where I'm going the next time I need another tux.
Rockin Tuxes!!!
This place rocks!!!! I went there having no idea about what kind of tux to get or anything like that and walked out supper stoked to show up in my new tux. There were so many choices and the staff was very helpful in picking out a tux that fit my style. They were also v...ery helpful in making sure it fit me perfectly and made all the adjustments necessary. If I need a tux again I will definitely be heading back here!
This place is a groupon scam! Stay away!
This place is a classic groupon scam. The owner has no concept of customer service or business. In this place groupon only gets you the lowest quality tuxedos. The russian salesperson was flat out obnoxious. Stay away!!! This place does NOT deserve NYC business.
Miracle work
When I walked in to NYCTux Friday afternoon looking for a tuxedo for Saturday, I expected to be laughed out of the store. Instead, Olga efficiently and professionally took care of me on the spot. I was in and out with a fitted tux in about 30 minutes. Not cheap, but no more than most other places in NY. I'll definitely be back.
Terrible, slow service and bad attitude
This place received good reviews so I was surprised by the horrible service I received recently. The eastern european woman at the front of the office is so slow, unaccomodating, and unintelligent, that she literally tells new customers coming in to come back another da...y because she can't process more than one thing at a time. They told me to come in to pick up my tux at a certain time/date. Because they do not answer the phone, there's no way to tell ahead of time if your tux is actually ready, so the only choice you have is to physically go in. Once you go in, you are subject to the aforementioned crappy service (at the end of an hour wait, I still needed to come back in another day because they had not even gotten started on my alterations until my name came up to be serviced). Avoid at all cost; your time and money are worth far more value than what this shady, crappy tuxedo rental place has to offer.
