Great service, poor accounting
The service was great! The technicians are very friendly. My debit card was however charged prior to receiving any bill OR notification and the caused my account to be overdrawn. I was told they wouldn't charge the account and would send a bill. OVP acknowledged the ...accounting error and immediately (took 3 days) to credit my account. The error however caused my bank account to incur 6 overdrafts charges (I had 5 legitimate charges outstanding at the time OVP put through their error). OVP now sends me bills for the service call plus finance charges accrued, however does nothing to address the fact that they caused me almost $200 in bank fees (substantially MORE than their original bill!) My suggestion, don't believe them when they say they will send a bill, just tell them to charge the account immediately to save yourself a lot of headaches and money!!!!
Good Service
I called Ocean View Plumbing and Heating when the water line in my house froze. I was very pleased with the prompt service provided by Ocean View Plumbing and Heating Inc.
