i knew i wasn't the only one that loved this place. if your reading this and askin 'what's the old mill crabhouse' put it on your bucket list and be careful because if you've never been there you could actually eat yourself to death! if you're shy about gettin down and ...dirty and huge amounts of food stay away from this place. the last time i was there was a week before they closed last year and everything was just as good as it was the other times i was there. you always worry about the freshness of the food at an all you can eat but from talking to my waitress and occassionally having to wait a few minutes they don't cook a bunch of food and let it sit like other places i've been. just wish they were open year round
Best Crab House Around !!
For years our family has been going to the Old Mill and we went as soon as they opened this year (2008) and it was great!! The old owners sold it to one of their long time customers and they were there and greeted us before our meal and after we cracked crabs and ate t...heir other great food with the all you can eat specials, especially that friend chicken!, they thanked us for coming to eat there. How often does that happen with the owners on premises these days?? Just love this place. We will go there after we get out of college, no doubts, it is awesome!
Awesome Crab House!!
We visited the Old Mill from Marylandon our way to the beach and it could not have been better. Everything was hot, great looking and tasted perfect. The service was excellent and the staff acted like we were appreciated when we left, which is rare these days. You ha...ve got to try their crabs which are big for an all you can eat place. The fried chicken was awesome and we had a contest to see who could eat the most sweet corn. Well worth the stop on the way to OC. Highly recommend! Two thumbs up!!
Best Crab House on the Eastern Shore!!
Ate here again this summer 7/08/08 on our way to OC. This place is nearly perfect in atmosphere, music, great staff, food quality, and TASTE. Our family refuses to skip a trip to the Old Mill if we are within an hour of the place. The Old Mill Crab House is a true cr...ab house and you can be assured of a great time. We always leave happy and full! You gotta try it. Tell em Manny from Georgetown sent ya! After all these years they better know who I am ! :)
You Get What You Pay For !!
Our office came out from West Ocean City and had a great feast with great service in a great setting! Not sure what the person earlier was talking about... who the heck even mentions Value Meal when going to ANY seafood restaurant!!?? lol..... Go to MocDonalds in you ...want a value meal, you get a toy too!! Thank you to the gang at Old Mill ! We'll be back soon... and about that toy.... :)
Gotta try it and love it!
Went Saturday for the first time this season and Crabs were the BEST EVER. Staff and music was great. Keep up the awesome job and DON'T CHANGE A THING PLEASE!!!! That person seeking cheap meals at a REAL Crab House must not read the papers, watch TV or REALLY live i...n the area as we ALL go here to eat... GOOD #1 crabs are never a "bargain" , especially all you can eat. You get what you pay for in life and in food. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE OLD MILL !!!! THANK YOU!
