Eat At Bar
There's two things I really like about Outback - you can eat a steak at the bar, and it's dimily lit enough to feel intimate and give you more of a steakhouse feel. There's usually a wait at this location off of Barrett Pkwy, but if you don't mind sitting at the bar, y...ou can eat a whole meal there. I know most bars offer this service, but they have a pretty nice bar. There steaks have always been good and a few times I've had chicken and that was good also. They don't have the largest menu but what they do, they do pretty well. If you're looking for a steak off of Barrett Pkwy, I'd go here before Longhorn's or Bugaboo Creek.
Very good steak, poor service and atmosphere.
Very loud, very much a sports bar atmosphere. My waitress was inexperienced and forgetful, although not unfriendly. The house salad was soaked with dressing and overwhelmed by chesse and garlicy oily croutons. The steak itself, a NY strip, was perfect: flavorful, cooked... just right, and just the right amount of crust. The garlic mashed potatoes were very good, too. It was reasonably priced. I can't imagine that I would go back because of the serice and atmosphere.
