Rummagers Thrift Store

If there were a no-star rating, I'd give this place that rating. We were promised by salesman we could return item for credit card credit, and he even put it in writing on the ticket. When we tried, owner was there and refused to do anything but store credit when we d...id not need. She acknowledged what we were told by salesman, but said he was new and not properly trained...HER problem...but she made it OUR problem by refusing to honor his error. When I protested, she asked me to leave and started to call the police. I suppose she didn't want other customers to hear our interchange. Avoid this store at all costs unless you do not plan to try to return anything. Moreover, it is waayy overpriced for a 'thrift' store. I guess she thinks her stuff is worthy of Nieman Marcus!! Our only satisfaction is that the salesman had knocked off $10 from a $35 original price, and she also got stuck with the VISA fee for the sale. Small, but quite indicative of of her poor business savy. Read More

This place is great if you're looking for skis from the 60's that would be free at a garage sale, but $250 here, $30 coffee tables for $150, wasted college dorm couches left by the dumpster for $250! Get ready to laugh!! Small town comedy at its finest!
