Friendly yet classy
We had some interesting items: fois gras. Great specials.\t\n\t\nSteak was delicious. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Not stuffy at all.
Host was rude, food was above average
We were greeted rudely by the host because we were 10 minutes late. We were told that he had "other diners to accomodate on this busy night" when only half the tables were filled by the time we had finished dinner. The food was above average. The service was at best ...mediocre. The setting was not bad--however, we were told by a nearby diner to keep it down because we were "spoiling her dining experience" when in actuality we were speaking at conversation level. If you like to be treated rudely, burn a hole in your wallet for above average food and mediocre service, and be told by elitists that you are ruining their night of dinner, I suggest you try the Saloon Steakhouse. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
2nd best is not bad
Great place to spot those famous athlets, great sophisticated atmoshere, near the Hancock Tower, what more can you ask for. Oh and did I mention that you can get in there faster than Gibsons, and there steaks are just as tasty.
