I am a small busisness owner in West Hartford also. I called this company to do Leather cleaning on a jacket. When the person took the call they stated Sedgwick cleaners , i then asked who i was talking to, they asked why does it matter. I then stated my name Ray. I ask...ed his name again. he stated it does not matter. I then told him i was just trying to be polite. He did not care. ( still would not give me his name) I then told him you can be this way i will take by busisness else where. If this person worked for me and talked to a customer like this i would walk him / her to the door asap Read More

I was very happy when I went to Sedgwick Cleaners in West Hartford; my husband's shirts were done quickly and all of our dry cleaning was bagged and ready for us earlier than planned. Sedgwick Cleaners, I learned through friendly conversation with the owner, is a family...- owned business that has been running for over 30 years. They are very friendly and do a fabulous job! I'm happy to say that i am very pleased with that establishment and i wish them well in these hard economic times. Everyone there does a great job and i would give them a 10 as far as customer service goes. Read More

I recently found Sedgwick Cleaners is West Hartford. I had tried other cleaners in the area but found them very impersonal. I was warmly greeted when I went into Sedgwick Cleaners and was treated nicely through the entire transaction. They have been owned by one famil...y for over 25 years and do all their work at that store. My order was ready the next day and when I went back, there was a problem with the pressing on 1 pair of my pants. The counter person was super helpful and offered to have the presser fix it while I waited. I was very impressed with the service and plan on making this my regular drycleaner. Read More
