I boarded my two dogs here and they lost one, not only this but lied about when they last saw the dog. Luckily for me someone picked him up and kept him till they saw my missing poster. The man that picked him up was about 3 miles away from the boarding facility and sa...id he found him 4 hours earlier than when the boarding owner told me she saw him last. I drove all the way from Lexington to get my dog groomed here and it was a complete waste of gas. Everything I told them to do, they ignored and everything I told them not to do, they did. All I ask is for them to leave his ears long, trim his tail, and make sure not to... cut him too short because he becomes extremely irritated if his undercoat is buzzed. Not only did Shaggy Doos give THE WORST haircut that my four year old dog has EVER had (Amateur mistakes like buzz patches and a complete abscence of blending), but it was the MOST I've ever paid to get him groomed. It took them 7 hours to finish him, making me late to work. When I returned home from work, he was whining desperately and had scratched himself raw in several places. When I called to complain about the haircut and their disregard of my instructions, the owner only made excuses, talked over me, and wouldn't give me a complete refund; even though I paid for his haircut, gas to get there, and a vet visit afterward.
