unsatisfied. Will never eat here again!
I walked through the doors, to a packed casual restaurant filled with dirty tables. I suppose my timing could have been better, it was maybe a few minutes after 6? So anyway...my party waited around and we got a table, sat down, and ordered a 4way with onion. They give ...you some crackers and a beverage, and then more waiting. Finally after 5-10 minutes, they bring me out a 3way covered with cheese. Way too much cheese, and the consistency was not right. The chili seemed watered down and tasteless, and after eating through the cheese, I found they didn't put any onions on my 3way. I didn't bother asking for a new one, as the place looked like hell, and the service was slow and uncourteous. So instead I ate the cheese and spaghetti, and at the bottom of my plate was WATER! straight up, a ton of water/chili mix. It looked appealing until I ate the cheese, but once that was over, it turned to disgust. \t\n\t\nThis was my first time eating at skyline, and I can say now, without a shadow of a doubt, there is better chili out there. I tried gold star the other night, and it was phenomenal in comparison. I can only speculate how the other cincinnati style chili is, but I will soon find out and report back!
Cheap? NO WAY!!
Skyline is definitely NOT cheap!!!! A couple of three ways and drinks are pushing up around $15 now, with tip and all. Given how cheap the ingredients are, they'd be making a profit if they cut their prices in HALF!!
A Hometown Favorite
Cincinnati is well known for its distinct Skyline Chili. You either love it or hate it. The chili has a hint of chocolate and a lot of cinnamon, giving it a very unique flavor. You'll find it very addicting!

when looking for a quick and filling place to sit and be waited on, Skyline is the place, the new one at Cornell Road in Blue ash is the best, they moved to get more room and what an improvement!!
Never lose the taste for Skyline
Cincy has changed alot since I move away 27 years ago. But the one thing thet remains the same is Skyline. The first place I stop in Cincy is at Skyline, the second stop is to vist family. My last stop leaving Cincy is Skyline. Great taste, Great value.
