Introduction

Our life today is surrounded by full of music. From TVs, radios, halls, streets, there are a lot of opportunities to listen to music. Although listening to music is our pleasure, playing music gives whole different degree of enjoyment to our lives. Especially, playing the guitar is precious experience, since guitar offers gorgeous sound and countless tone colors. Because of these features, great musicians, such as Ludwig van Beethoven and Andre Segovia, considered guitar as a miniature orchestra.

Teaching

I believe that playing the guitar is very personal experience, because of the way of holding guitar, producing sounds, and changing notes. Because of its nature, in a lesson, I pay very close attention on followings,

Posture
Use of whole body, including right and left hands

As well as above technical aspect, I also greatly focus on musical features as,

Tone quality
Musical interpretation
Reading note
Rhythm

Through lessons, students will be able to develop not only balanced technique but also deep understanding of musical idea.
