Temple Beth El, Flint, MI
Shalom,\t\nI have had the pleasure of attending Temple Beth El in Flint, MI. I receive a warm welcome there.\t\n\t\nRabbi Companez has been the rabbi of Temple Beth El since August 2002. Rabbi Companez was ordained at Hebrew Union College ? Jewish Institute of Religio...n in May 2002.\t\n\t\nDuring her time as rabbi of Temple Beth El, she has conducted several Taste of Judaism courses, designed to introduce people to the basics of Judaism. These courses attracted many people from the Flint and surrounding areas. She has also run Introduction to Judaism courses, and has offered courses in basic Hebrew. \t\n\t\nRabbi Companez and others who teach at Temple Beth El are committed to building Jewish community and to helping people feel that their contributions to the community are of value. I have taken the first course in Hebrew and experienced some of the introductory courses and experiences there. I enjoy learning and worshiping there. \t\n
