A must -meal and tour of"haunted" plantation.
We ate there for our 44th wedding anniversary and wpould like to revisit the restaurant . The prices are equivalent to S. A. or Austin, but the food and service are exceptional. My husband brought champagne, cake(served to us by staff) and flowers. then our arranged... tour was done by a native daughter of aBerclair merchant who used to delilver groceries to & who knew the family who lived in the now "haunted" mansion. Wish they were open on Sundays, too.
Worth the Trip
Last August 29, 2009, my husband & I celebrated our 44th anniversary with our close friend at Terrell Hall, some 60 miles away. The food was fresh, varied, and truly gourmet. Staff were friendly attentive and cut the cake, opened the wine( BYOB)we brought. They even ...arranged for our tour of the"HaUNTED " BerclairMansion with a docent who knew the owners-- Terrell family who gave us a detailed historical tou, with true stories about the family and the furnishings.. Our only regret is that the Restaurant is open only two nites each weekend!t.Well worth the trip
Excellent
Every meal that we have had at Terrell Hall Restaurant has been excellent. The ribeye steak is phenomenal. We were stuck on it for a while but a couple of weeks ago we chose the lamb. It was outstanding! Every course from the soup and salad to the main course to the des...sert is prepared with such culinary expertise. We had the pleasure of meeting the pastry chef who just joined the staff recently. The desserts that night were delicious.
Wow!
Wow! What a meal.. The Bar J Shrimp and the Filet with Argetenian Chimichurri Sauce are phenomenal. The staff and servers are top notch and make it a point to attend to your every dining need. The atmoshphere is very quaint and elegant. We cannot wait to go back and... try yet another one of the dishes on the menu. Superb food in a very neat place. Terrell Hall is BYOB so grab your favorite bottle of wine and head to Berclair for a wonderful evening at the Mansion.
