Bad Management
My experience with Tudor Estates has been pretty good up to the beginning of the year 2014, shortly after the community was taken over by a new company. 1. I have had several incidents with noisy neighbors at all hours of the night. When I told the lady at the office... (Jennifer) about it, she told me there was nothing they could do and that I should call the police and exaggerate to get them to come out. Instead of sending my neighbors a simple letter, she insists I must get the police involved, as if they have nothing better to do. 2. They offer a referral program that says they will give you 50% off of rent for 2 consecutive months if your referral moves in. So when I referred my brother and his family to the community in February, they told me that the program had expired in January. I then had a friend stop by to check out a home at the beginning of March to find that they had started the referral program again and that it would not expire until June of this year. So apparently February, the month my brother moved in, is the only time they did not offer that program. 3. After a snowstorm in March my boyfriend went out and shoveled the driveway. We stayed in the rest of the night and he got up at 5 a.m to go to work only to find that the snowplow had piled 2 feet of what was now solid ice behind our vehicles. He spent about a half an hour digging his car out and was late for work because of it. Me, being 9 months pregnant, decided to call the office later that day and ask for help to get my vehicle out. Jennifer's response was that my boyfriend should have done it and that they are not responsible for the driveways. After telling her that I was 9 months pregnant and stranded at home 3 different times after what had escalated into an argument, she said she would send the snowplower over to check it out. He came by about an hour later and barley scratched the surface of the ice, leaving me to move the better half of the remainder on my own. Makes me wonder what she tells our elderly residents when they need help. My lease is up in April and I cannot wait to sell my home and get out of here. The community is okay overall but the new company is not helpful or resident friendly by any means.
