Valley Food Center

Excellent place to buy bulk meat. Fresh, low fat, and affordable. Just wish they were closer to Clare. Long drive but worth it.

Have been going regularly for about four years, was told it's a fantastic store with awesome prices on meats.Have never been unhappy with the quality of meats until last visit Sunday July 28th 2013. Went to buy ten pounds of the chicken and pork, the quality of meats th...at are presented in the meat counter is nothing like what you bring home. Very unhappy with the quality of meat that we received, probably will go elsewhere next time. The pork steaks and finger ribs were nothing that were shown in the meat counter, ours were all FAT.Ask to purchase what's under the counter, not the back room. Bad mistake there, wish I new better. Just never experienced that before, until now. Next time I will look elsewhere, before making that trip. Read More
