My wife and I had Tony come to install a new system for us to replace our old, unsafe, barely functioning cesspool. Upon digging, we learned that the job we originally had planned for would not be possible as our yard consists of nothign but clay for a good 20-30 feet ...deep. Tony explained our options and promised us he could still make things happen. Many truckloads of dirt, a backhoe, and one crane later, our new system was installed. Unfortunately, our yard was trashed. With a wet ground and tons of clay, nto much could be done at that moment. But, Tony promised to come back and fix it for us. To be honest, I was not sure I'd see or hear from him again. But, true to his word, he called to let us know he'd be back that week to clean up. Upon returning home from work I was amazed to see that the entire yard was clean and graded with all topsoil replaced. Their extensive knowledge of the cesspool business, job & the repair plan was very impressive & they had the job. I am getting medical tr...eatment so I watched the progress from my kitchen window.Vecchio coordinated with National Grid because the gas line ran directly through the collapse. This was handled by Terry who works tirelessly in the office and is Tony's wife. Son Ben is also part of the work force. Hard working and a volunteer firefighter and ambulance rider. Our front bushes are over 53 years old and been planted by my parents. They were going to be part of the loss. Tony and Ben did a great job installing an overflow cesspool for us. They treated the property with total respect. Fences were replaced perfectly, underground sprinklers were undisturbed, and trees and shrubs were unmolested. It was a pleasure to deal with such fine people. My name is Loretta and I have a house in Selden. I called Vecchio Cesspool Service & Installation on the Friday Before Christmas at 12:30 P.M. 2007. I had sewage backing up into my house and within one hour Tony came and took care of the problem. I knew once I calle...d Vecchio Cesspool that I found the right company. The person who took my call assured me from the beginning that everything would be ok. I was told up front that there would be no cost for someone to come and assess the problem. If Pumping was needed I was told how much it would cost per gallons that was pumped out. They were very reasonable, many companies could have used this situation to charge extra but not Vecchio Cesspool. I added their number to my phone book and will use them and recommend them everytime.
