Ms.Walsh earned her Master of Music degree as a piano performance major at Combs' College of Music in Philadelphia where she was awarded with a scholarship and a teaching fellowship. Upon graduating, Kelly devoted many years to teaching piano and music education classes in various schools and colleges in the Northeast. In 1999 Kelly founded Walsh Piano Studio in Jupiter, Florida where she teaches private lessons. Her reputation as an expressive pianist and an exacting musician made her a highly sought-after piano instructor. Aside from teaching and managing her studio, she wrote and was granted two United States patents for a music reading method she created. She is the author of Wordspeller, a music reading textbook that is currently featured on Amazon.com. Today, Kelly lives with her husband and two pampered Chihuahuas. She enjoys learning French and biking.

Excellent instruction in every way! Very Satisfied.
I have two children that have taken lessons for the past two years with Kelly. They are different ages and ability levels and Kelly easily adapts to both of their strengths and abilities. She really cares about teaching children to read music and play to the best of t...heir ability. She takes time to get to know the child and their interests in music and tries to select pieces for them to learn that are interesting to them. I highly recommend Kelly to anyone considering piano lessons for their children.

Hello I am honored to write this review. She has the patience of a saint. She is soft spoken and loves music which reflects on her passion to teach others. I first met Kelly in December 2010. I am 55 years old was given a paino for Christmas. I was afraid to even... touch middle C. I was very nervious but she quickly put me at ease. I can honestly say that I truly love Kelly and well she is my Angel Music Teacher. I am blessed to have her as my piano teacher. She takes her time with you. She guides you every single step of the way never ever getting upset with you. I have listened to her play and well it is breath taking. If you'd like your children to REALLY learn to play piano, Kelly is the instructor for you! This is for real! No baby-ing, no goofing off - strict, professional, structured lessons and mandatory practicing schedules are enforced. Kelly is a true professional, passion...ate about piano - and she has a Masters in Music degree! (Wait until you hear her play!) She has a lovely sitting room for parents and siblings, her rates are fair, and she is very organized in scheduling our lesson time and offering make-up lessons, if necessary. She puts on a very impressive recital every Spring. Your child will learn to play piano with Kelly and both you and your child will be proud! You will see and hear results and observe progression over the years. You will not be disappointed with this piano teacher!
