Studio pH 4.5

I have been a patron of Studio pH 4.5 since its opening. The stylists are extremely skilled and personable. Angelo takes his time to ensure you are receiving the cut and style you are looking for. Great location in Old Town Alexandria--I highly recommend it!

I've been all over to big name, super busy salons and by far my visit to see Angelo was the best experience I've had. Very personal service. Great hair care line from europe.

Angelo is the ABSOLUTE best! Been a loyal patron for nearly two years and walk out of his studio looking great every time. Seriously the best cut and color in Old Town!

I have spent many years looking for a hairdresser who understands how to work with fine hair, and I finally found Angelo who was a referral, about 2 years ago. The first thing I noticed was how tastefully decorated the salon is, with large mirrors, good lighting, large windows and great background music. Angelo schedules his appointments so that you are his only client and you get his 100% undivided attention and never feel rushed. It is like having your own personal salon. Angelo immediately understood how to take care of my fine hair and is so careful with it so as not to damage it. Other hairdressors have damaged my hair in the past. Every recommendation he has made for color and cut has been fantastic, and he even gave me a body wave that did wonders. Every single cut has been perfect for my type of hair, hairstyle and preferences. I am very happy with Angelo and highly recommend him. His is a breath of fresh air after many failed attempts to find a good hairdressor.

Angelo has been cutting my hair for the past 14 years. I would never consider going to anyone else. He understands my hair "characteristics" and I have never experienced a bad hair day with my hair style. He is extremely knowledgeable and dependable. Plus, he has become a good friend over these years!

I searched for YEARS before finding Studio pH 4.5 but I have LOVED this place! I have curly hair and found that many stylists do not work well with naturally curly hair. Angelo has only given me 2 bad cuts: early on, when he cut it EXACTLY as I had asked. Now I tell him what I want it to do and he makes it work. No bad cuts since. His product recommendations are right on. Aside from being generally wonderful, the commitment to good customer service means that I come out looking and feeling fabulous. Angelow KNOWS hair and he cares about working WITH your hair so you need less fuss and less product to get what you want from your hair in the most natural way possible. He asks questions and teaches me how to make my hair healthy. I am constantly getting compliments on my shiny gorgeous curls which are now free-flowing.Most of his clients are long-timers because the results are so good and he is good to his clients. I highly recommend this salon! Well worth the drive to Old Town.
