Exceptional Value - including free diagnosis (other shops quoted $30 or more just to assess my macbook). Apple Store in the mall quoted $700 to repair my new (3 month old) MacBook after coffee was spilled into it voiding the warranty. MacAdvantage repaired my MacBook - and saved all my data for around $300!

The Apple store couldn't get my hard drive to mount & said they could not recover my data. I called Drive Savers in Novato who charge $300 for the attempt even if they recover nothing and estimated a two week turnaround & around $2000 if they were successful. I was abou...t to head for Novato, when a friend who works at Whole Foods Corporate Offices in Emeryville told me about Tam at Mac Advantage Macintosh Computer Repair & Data Recovery shop. I called, reached a live, encouraging person on the phone & drove straight there. There was no charge for the attempt. (No Data, no charge!) But, what's far better is, they recovered ALL my data: graphics files, photos & music -everything on my hard drive in less than three days and for nearly 75% less than I'd been quoted by the Novato shop!
