Love our dojo!
My son and I love this dojo! We have been members for about a year and we have gained so much from participating. My son has gotten stronger, more disciplined, and more mature. I have lost some weight, gained energy, found muscles I never knew I had, and have been h...aving a blast! As a middle-aged teacher, it is wonderful to try something that is hard for me and to watch excellent teachers in another discipline in action. Dr. Lockhart and his staff are incredibly accomplished. More important to me is the fact that they know how to be inclusive to all ages and abilities and that the dojo is very family-oriented. This dojo is filled with upstanding, family-oriented, caring men and women on staff and in class. The dojo gives us motivation and a sense of belonging. I know my son is well cared for there and that the lessons we are learning there will stay with us for a lifetime.

THE BEST MARTIAL ARTS CENTER IN SAN ANTONIO AND FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!!
My son has been part of the Karate Plus Martial Arts Personal Development Centerfor just over one year now. The results have been IMPRESSIVE!!! Just after 8 months my son's PE teacher congratulated us for Bryan's progress. Before before being enrolled in the Karate Plus... Martial Arts Personal Development Centermy son could only do ONE pull up in the PE test. After 8 months in the program my son did ELEVEN pull ups and was number 2 in his class!!!!! Not only his physical condition has improved, only after one month his self esteem had improved dramatically. He went from being scared at school to confronting his agressors and there was no violence either! I thank God for Dr Lockhart and his family. They have been a blessing! So much that I am now in the process of enrolling in the program myself!!! Five stars are not enough!! TEN STARS IS MORE LIKE IT!!!!

The instructors here guided both my son and I through many emotional and physical obstacles. They taught us discipline, dedication and self-defense. I would highly recommend this dojo!

We are an expereinced "Karate Family". When we returned to the San Antonio area after a 4 year leave, we actively looked and evaluated karate schools. This school immediately came to our attention due to the unequaled qualifications of it's lead teacher, Grand Master ...Lockhart. Then we were pleased to find that they actually wanted to interview our family and see if we matched what thier curriculum had to offer. This is an up front operation with the true spirit of Martial Arts at it's core. It is not simply a business. Obviously we chose this school and have for the past 6 months been very pleased. I recommend this school without hesititaion.
