Lesser priced instruments made outside of the USA have a much shorter useful playing life. They cost more to maintain and be repaired. Parts are rarely available, so bench rates are more. I do repair these, but in the long run, value and quality has been compromised.

Recommend Highly..Very Knowledgeable
Excellent, quick and honest service. Brought my sons instrument in late Friday afternoon and needed it back early the following week for his school's seat challenges. Greg finished the repair lightening fast and had the sax back by the ring of the bell Monday morning. ...Spent extra time and explained on how to properly maintain the instrument. Can’t say enough about his fantastic service and fair pricing. I would highly recommend Moore’s Music Repair for all of your instrument repair needs
Tuba Cleaning
Very thorough cleaning of my horn. It now plays better than new. The valves operate more quietly than on any horn I've played in 50 plus years.
Great job with school instruments!
I brought in some middle school instruments that had been sitting idle for some years, and that were in very poor condition. Greg fixed them up beautifully! The instruments were made playable, and were given extra touches that only a caring professional would do. For... example, one trombone was so old and the brass so far gone that it leaked profusely. Greg improvised and put a sealant on the slide, making it possible for one more student to play an instrument. He did the same for large dents on the bell of our tuba, making it presentable as well as playable. Greg also fixed the latches on some of the old instrument cases. I am extremely grateful for the attention to detail and great workmanship that Greg put into these instruments. I now have 15 students playing instruments that were just rotting on our shelves! I highly recommend Moore Music Repair for your school instrument repairs. I will also be recommending Greg to my students for their own instrumental needs.
Moore Music is a great find and provide EXCELLENT service
My daughter's clarinet needed repair ASAP for Friday's football game. I emailed them through this website and was contacted immediately to bring it in for repair. I waited during my lunch hour. They did a great job and were very friendly. I'm glad I found them sinc...e they are right off the freeway and very reasonable. The kids in band couldn't believe she got it fixed so fast and asked for their business cards... which she happlily passed them out. THANK YOU for the excellent service.... and helping us out in a crisis....
Moore Music is a fantastic value
Moore Music has sold me numerous instruments for my children as well as having rebuilt my personal tuba. Greg's instruments and repair work are beyond compare. When my children first started playing, I purchased used student models from Greg. Later, we purchased a profe...ssional cornet which my son still uses in his brass band. Where did I take my tuba when it wheezed and clicked? Why to see Greg. He did a total rebuild for an extremely reasonable price. In short, an awesome experience. Awesome work for reasonable prices.
Highly Recommended - Knowledgeable/Experienced Service!
Greg Moore has a great selection of instruments old and new. He is extremely courtesy and personable, and can make sure you get the right tool for the job at a good price! He has years of experience as a musician and expert repair man. This is extremely valuable when... guiding customers on a purchase or doing a repair right the first time! Greg made special appointments to fit my busy traveling schedule, and always has great stories and quality horns for me to give a try. This place is worth a visit! Highly Recommended!
