Awesome A/V experience!
I recently purchased a TV, receiver, DVD player and assorted accessories at A&B. My customer experience was excellent! Harlan walked me through several options (didn't try to upsell me!) and answered all my nitpick questions. I was so determined to buy a certain TV th...at was just coming on the market so he made it happen for me. And his recommendations on people to assist in the process (satellite, setup, etc) were spot on! Everybody I dealt with knew exactly what they were doing, and were 100% responsible. Such a nice change from the big box options...go local! Go to A&B and make it a pleasant experience to get your new toys :-)
Poor advice-expensive mistake
Recently bought a new TV, sub-woofer, AV receiver and stereo speakers at A&B. The TV is very nice, but the Denon AV receiver they recommended (apparently the only one they carry) is so complicated and non-intuitive that it is rendered non-fuctional for lay people. We ha...d to hire a technician to come out, set it up, and try to explain how to work it ($250). He apparently had to take an 8 hour course to learn how to program it. It is still a mind boggling process just to play a movie in surround sound. Hence the universal remote ($300) plus another trip by the tech to program it (another couple of hundred bucks).\t\nPoor advice, poor selection, poor service. Really disappointed and out about 8 grand. Expensive mistake.
A & B TV a positive experience
Very pleased with our experience at A&B TV. We found the TV we wanted, the installation process was a breeze and Harlan gave us excellent guidance. We upgraded to HDTV and had a lot of questions about connections, routers, sound systems, dongles and app streaming. Harlan explained everything to us and we are very pleased with the result.
A and B and Elmo Rock!
Elmo (yes his name is Elmo!) was very patient with us. He walked us through all our options and pros and cons of each choice. He took his time listening and providing all options. He price matched other quotes we obtained from the chain stores. Can't beat the service and price - plus feels great supporting local businesses! Elmo DOES rock!
Highly recommend A&B and Harlan.
If you want knowledgable staff who are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you want/need at a great price, do yourself a favor and check out Harlan and the guys over at A&B TV. Over the past 6 years, I've purchased audio and video equipment from A&B ...and have been nothing but pleased. They are always very friendly and helpful every time I go in. They also stand behind the products they sell with great service and warranty support. Plus they are local! You can't go wrong.
Great place, go see Harlan!
I have purchased an LED TV and surround sound speakers from Harlan over at A&B TV in the last few months. Harlan was very straight with me about features, quality, and prices. He did not try to sell me on anything, he just answered all my questions and let me make my ...own decision based on the information and the demos. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, A&B has everything set up so you can see the TVs side-by-side or listen to the speakers you'd like in comparison to other speakers (or receivers, Blu-ray players, etc.). Great deals from a LOCAL retailer. I think Harlan's been there for years, it's not like going to Best Buy and dealing with some kid who won't be there next week. No more big box stores for me!
