US Consumers can request a credit for up to 180 days on a credit card charge. The term "chargeback insurance" is a term used in the fees the retailer pays the credit card processing company.
Many retialers will print on the receipt that ALL RETURNS must be made within 20-30days. Some retailers are also charging a re-stocking fee on returned items.Answered by dougmyrick (Mentor with 315 pts.)
