About Satellite Installation Companies

Although television subscribers have dozens of options for cable television, there are only a few satellite companies available in the United States. The availability of satellite installation services depends on your location, but most large satellite retailers have technicians who can install equipment within days or weeks.

DirecTV
DirecTV is currently the most popular and longest-running satellite TV company in the United States. In addition to providing hundreds of channels to subscribers, DirecTV is known for providing a positive customer service experience. New subscribers can take advantage of packages that include free installation and free equipment. These packages may be subject to terms and conditions that customers should fully research before making a purchase.

DISH Network
DISH Network is one of the largest satellite networks in the country. With independent realtors spread throughout the United States, customers can order equipment and services and get them installed by a local technician within a short amount of time. DISH Network offers many popular features, such as HDTV and DVR service. Much like DirecTV, DISH Network provides introductory packages to new customers.

VOOM
VOOM satellite television features many of the same channels as DISH Network and DirecTV, but it also has over 20 channels exclusive to VOOM. These channels are commercial free, and they are broadcast in high definition. This service is available to subscribers in the continental United States. Since this company is not as large and widespread as larger satellite retailers, customers may have to wait longer for installation.
