Advantages of a Mini Computer
Mini computers, frequently called netbooks, have taken the world of computing by storm. They are smaller than a laptop, yet larger and more functional than a tablet computer. Owning a mini computer can offer you several advantages over other computer products.
- The most basic advantage of a netbook is its size. Most netbooks have a screen size of less than one foot. This means that it is the perfect size to use on your lap or while seated on the couch. It is also easy to transport. A student can fit a mini computer in their backpack or purse. Also, most netbooks weigh less than two pounds.
- Mini computer pricing has made them very attractive to consumers. Prices can range anywhere from $200 to $500, registering much lower that laptops and tablet computers. Several mobile companies sell netbooks for even lower prices when bundled with a mobile data package.
- Netbooks are very functional and can do almost anything a laptop can do. This is not so with tablet computers. Although they are extremely popular currently, they do not have many of the features that consumers desire. For instance, word processing can be a chore on a tablet, but is very easy and fluid on a mini computer.
- Some netbooks are currently installed with hardware that allows them to receive and send mobile data. This means that a netbook can run on a 3G or 4G network without the need of a broadband card.
