An engaged couple has many things to plan, including the reception entertainment. They do not have to limit themselves to a DJ or cover band when there are so many different options for live entertainment available in cities big and small. Once a theme is chosen for a wedding, a couple could build their wedding entertainment based on their theme.
After a couple becomes engaged, sets the date and orders the cake and flowers, they need to plan the reception. Many couples wonder where they can find out all about wedding entertainment. A wedding planner could make suggestions on what type of entertainment would be best for a couple based on their shared interests or causes or the couple could come up with ideas on their own.
A DJ or cover band is enough for a wedding reception, but many couples, especially those who are hosting larger wedding affairs, are turning towards wedding entertainment that includes something for everyone in attendance. This could mean that there is a balloon animal maker or puppet show for the children and live, romantic music featuring a harp or other dreamy instruments for the adults.
Themed weddings are gaining popularity and with them comes matching entertainment. A themed wedding could be based on a belief the couple holds such as helping animals or the environment. Whatever a couple is passionate about could be turned into the entertainment for their reception. There are no rules that say wedding entertainment has to be music, although music plus some other form of entertainment, inspired by a theme, would be ideal.
