Best Ways to Learn How to Use Excel

Excel is a Microsoft Office program that can create spreadsheets and manage data for a variety of purposes.  There are many easy ways to learn how to use this program for your school, job or recreation.  Determine how you learn best and find a program that can teach you how to make Excel work for your needs.

• Take a class at your local community college or high school.  Many of these computer classes are offered for free or a small book fee.  Community organizations set up classes through the schools to help residents learn computer programs, like Excel.


• Hire a tutor to teach you the basic excel commands.  With a few hours of one-on-one interaction, you should be on your way to mastering the Excel program.

• Watch an online tutorial on YouTube or other video production.  These videos are a great way to see how the program works and learn the necessary steps at your own pace.  Before long, you will be an excel expert, able to make your own video demonstrating the features of Excel.
