Blue Costume Ideas

Everyone has a favorite color. We may choose clothing, home accessories or electronics based on our color. Why not embrace your beloved hue a little more for Halloween or a costume party? These events allow you to be quite silly with no questions asked. If your favorite color is blue, you are in luck as there are many costumes to choose from to showcase this pigment.

• Become a member of the Blue Man Group by wearing all black clothing and painting your skin blue. Make yourself more authentic by not talking to anyone and carrying around an interesting pipe to make some music.


• Get your fill of antioxidants by dressing like a blueberry. Find a round circular ball to wear around your middle and a cap with a stem on it.


• Try not to melt as a blue M&M. You can purchase an M&M costume pre-made or you can choose to make your own.


• Dress up like Blue from Blue’s Clues and help solve a mystery. This costume can be easy to create if you dye the parts for a dog costume blue.


• Become the “brightest” crayon in the box by donning a blue Crayola crayon outfit. A blue tube-like dress with the Crayola logo on it along with a pointy hat will leave no one guessing.


• Make wishes come true by becoming the Genie from Aladdin. Paint your skin blue and find a red belt, blue pants and some Arabian style shoes. Don’t forget to paint on or grow that customary genie beard!


• Turn into a blue creature known as a Smurf by painting your body blue and wearing a white dress or pair of pants along with a white hat.
