How to Find Fast Growing Trees

Fast Growing Trees for Small Gardens

There is nothing more beautiful and eye pleasing than having a lovely small garden--except maybe having a tree inside of that lovely garden. Trees are more than just natural decoration pieces, they can have purpose. It is said that some hospital patients have been known to recover in a shorter amount of time when there is a view of a tree to be seen from their room.

Trees are great to look at, and they can be magnificent spectacles in themselves, but waiting for one to grow can take a lot of years. There are some trees that do not take a long time to grow.

Eucalyptus Tree

This fast growing tree originates from Austrailia. One of the benefits of this tree is that its height can be restricted, or controlled so it will not become too tall. This will enable it to maintain its foliage's youthful appearance, something that disappears when it gets up in age. It is wonderfully fragrant, it can grow 6 feet a year, and it is drought tolerant. The fragrance has been known to act as a flea repellant for some very happy pets.

Pink Knockout Rose Tree

This gorgeous tree is known for its beautiful huge pink flowers, which bloom from spring up until first frost. It has a strong resistance to pests and diseases. And at 4 feet tall, this little dynamo makes the perfect addition for any person's garden.

Nellie Stevens Holly

These green wonders make a great 'hedge of protection' for any garden. They can grow up to 3 feet a year, and you don't need a green thumb to manage them. When Christmas time comes, make use of the gorgeous reb berries that appears: snip some off and use them as decorations.
