How Find Free Skate Parks
Skaters all around the country are constantly on the lookout for free skate parks. Depending on your location there may be several free skate parks in your area. Research your local resources to find a free skate park to avoid fees or membership costs.
- Go to yellowpages.com and type in "skate parks". After you have done this, simply type in your zip code or a nearby zip code. You are bound to find a list of skate parks listed on the webpage.
- Call each skate park listed on the yellowpages.com. In order to find out the information you are looking for, you need to call each skate park in your area. The only way to know if these skate parks are free is to ask! They should tell you whether or not there is a fee associated with skating at their park.
- Join a friend at their private skate park. Sometimes a private skate park will run a special so you can bring a friend. If you do not have a paid admission to a private park then ask to go with a friend. The private skate park may have stipulations as to how many times you can attend for free.
- Ask a local park and recreation manager. If you are not familiar with your area then the best place to look for a free skate park is to check with the local parks and recreation department. The employees probably work in the free skate park if there is one in your area.
