What You’ll Need:
- Carpenter’s Square
- Trim Nails
- Hammer
- Tape Measure
- Spacers
- Caulk
- Hammer
- Pry Bar
- Utility Knife
- Adjustable Wrench
- Toilet Wax Ring
- Use your pry bar and hammer to pry the floor trim up from the room. Be careful around the trim as you take it up. Set the trim off to the side once you are finished.
- Turn the water off behind your toilet tank and flush it. Disconnect its line using the wrench and then remove the bolts holding the toilet down. Remove the toilet and carry it out of the room.
- Find an area where you want to start against the wall and set your flooring panel down on that spot. It is best to start against the wall that is the least obstructed. Be mindful to set spacers down between each panel.
- Connect each of the panels by their grip strip located along their edges. Spacers can be put between the walls and panels. Do this until you have them up against the wall and fitted correctly.
- Use the razor knife to cut along the last panel square. Be sure the line is straight. Bend the tile until it breaks and set down the panel with the cut side against your wall. Continue on with the following rows of panels and cut the end pieces the same. Reinstall the toilet and floor trim once you are finished.
