Things You'll Need:

- Stud finder

- Measure the dimensions of the television. This is what will determine the size of the shelf to be built. Add 2-3 inches to create some space on each side of the shelf.
- Cut the circular lumber board with a table saw based on the dimension measured. The shape should be like a cone with the radius on each side corresponding to the dimensions on the wall.
- Cut out two pieces of plywood into a cone with the same measurement as the lumber boards and glue the pieces together. Glue the plywood again to the base of the lumber board.
- Assess the wall and make sure there is no obstruction that may impede the shelf. Pipes and wires should be excluded.
- Locate the wall studs using an electronic or magnetic stud finder and screw the lumber board firmly to the wall.
- Paint the shelf to match the color of the room and wait till it gets dry.
- Make sure the shelf is sturdy and firmly fixed when building it to ensure that it can support the weight of the TV for a long time.
