How to Buy a Fishing License Online
A valid fishing license is required for every person over a certain age who goes fishing. Legal licensing age varies by state, but is typically either 14 or 16 years of age. Fishing licenses are valid for one calendar year, January 1st to December 31st. A fishing license can be obtained online at each individual state’s fish and game website.
