How to Clean Bathroom Tile

Cleaning bathroom tile is a tedious job that many people would prefer not to do, but it is something that must be done to keep the room nice and presentable. You should never allow mildew and soap scum to build up on the tile because it makes it harder to clean.

How to Clean Bathroom Tile

  1. Mix 1 cup of salt, 1 cup of baking powder and 1 cup of vinegar to make a paste.

  2. Dab a non-abrasive sponge in the mixture and rub it on the tile. Use an old toothbrush, cotton ball or Q-tip to apply the mixture to the corners.

  3. Allow the cleaner to sit on the tile for 10 minutes before rinsing off.

  4. After all of the cleaner has been removed, dip a sponge in lemon juice and apply it to the tile surface to create a shine. The citrus will not only leave a fresh aroma, but it will also discourage future mildew growth.
