How to Create Cheap Baby Shower Decorations

Baby showers are a lot of fun. Most people attend to see all the wonderful items that have been purchased for the new baby on the way. Some attend just to have fun and see all the decorations that fill the room. There are many ways that you can decorate for a baby shower without having to spend a lot of money.

• Purchase a lot of balloons. Balloons are inexpensive and always add life to a party. You can purchase them in all different colors and place them everywhere in the house.

• Serve punch or drink in a baby tub. Most guests will find this hilarious and won’t mind having their drink served from the tub since the baby has yet to arrive.

• Decorate the room with pictures of animated characters. You may choose characters such as Winnie The Pooh and his funny little friends. You could also decorate the room with pictures of mom and dad before baby arrives.

• Visit craft stores to find baby garland and different types of stringers. You can hang these items throughout the room. Most of these items do not cost a lot and can be found also in many local department stores..

• Hang baby clothes throughout the room. If you want to get creative you could make the room look like a laundry room filled with baby items. You can do this by making a clothesline in the room and hanging the clothes with clothes pins. You could also decorate the room to look like a diaper room.

• Use cups and paper plates that will accentuate the room. You can choose colors that will match the other decorations of the room.
