How to Create a Facebook Ad
Facebook has two types of advertising - self-service Marketplace and Premium. Whichever you choose, a successful Facebook ad should encourage people to take action by including a "Click Here" or "Order Online Today" function. Use compelling images in your Facebook ad to attract attention. Also, make your ad simple to navigate.
Log into your Facebook account. Your ad must have a title and a body. The title can have a maximum of 25 characters and the body can have 135 characters max.
An image is required. A great image can determine the success of your ad. Choose an attention-getter that is a good representation of your service or product. Images cannot be greater than 110 pixels wide x 80 pixels tall. You can’t upload anything more than 5 megabytes.
When your advertisement is ready, go to the "Advertise on Facebook" page. You will be asked to put in a destination where people will end up after clicking on your ad, which is an external URL. You then add a destination URL, which is a page that allows users to take action on your ad. Add your catchy and interesting title. Do not use all capital letters or many exclamation points. Enter the body of your ad that describes your product or service. Add the image, preview and you are done.
Facebook charges for you to advertise. You can choose between CPC, cost per click, and CPM, cost per thousand impressions. You specify how much you are willing to pay for either.
