How to Cut After Bulking Up With Prohormones
In bodybuilding, there are two phases to the cycle of self-shaping. There is bulking up, which involves eating extra food and performing very high resistance exercise. This builds mass and muscle, but on the flip side of this is 'cutting down', which aims to reduce body mass, fat, and bulk.
- Shrink Your Diet. Calorie control is one of the most obviously important factors in trying to lose weight and fat. You need to be consuming just as many calories - or even slightly less - than your body normally requires in order to encourage the burning of fat as a resource. Calories in should never exceed calories out when you're trying to cut down. Avoid highly fatty and sugary foods, and keep things lean.
- Shift your exercise. When trying to bulk up, the goal is to rip muscles and give your body lots of material to rebuild it with. When you're cutting down, you want to do just the opposite. In addition to limiting what you put in your body, you should shift your exercise from low-repetition, high-resistance work to very high-repetition and low-resistance. This encourages your body to burn more calories than in a regular exercise and avoids tearing your muscles so you can continue on for longer periods. Cardio exercise also becomes much more important when trying to cut down, and your routine should work to accommodate that with extra running or swimming.
- Drink water. Drinking water is an incredibly useful habit for shedding excess poundage. Flushing excesses in your body will help to keep you looking lean and sculpted. Avoid anything that risks dehydrating you, like alcohol and excessive caffeine to make sure you're properly hydrated and flushing.
