How to Decorate a Princess Party

Princess parties are very popular amongst little girls. Every little girl wants to be a princess. Finding and decorating a party with princess decorations is very simple. The biggest decision is choosing to have a general princess theme or a Disney Princess theme for your little girl's party.

  1. Decide whether you want a Disney Princess theme or a general princess theme for the party. If you decide that you want to do Disney Princesses, do you want to include all of them or choose between Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Tiana, Jasmine or Ariel?

  2. Gather the staples that any party needs. These things include paper plates, utensils, tablecloths, gift bags, party favors and napkins. Going to the party store to purchase these items gives you the best overall selection as you will find everything in multiple designs.

  3. Common decorations for a princess party include princess party hats, anything in pink and castles. No princess party would be complete without a castle. One of the most popular options for decorating a princess party that also includes entertainment is to rent a bouncy castle for the day.

  4. String up white or pink twinkle lights to create a beautiful affect that any princess would love. This is a cheap way of adding some creative lighting to your party and likely does not cost you anything because you can dig them out of your Christmas decorations.

  5. Include some of the party games as your decorations. Things like the board to pin the tail on the donkey, which can be found in a princess addition, adds to the overall decor.
