How to Make Princess Party Favors

A princess party is a dream for little girls.  With fancy dresses, tea cups and tiaras, girls will feel like a real princess, even just for a day.  There are many things to create a princess environment, including making party favors a real princess would love.

  • Print plain white tiaras and allow the girls to decorate them with colors, markers or paint.  The girls can add glitter, ribbons and small gems to make their tiara as individualized as the girl.  You can add elastic or ribbons so the tiara will stay on the head.  You may be able to find cheap sun visors at a Dollar Store.  Let the girls decorate the visor to look like an official royal crown or tiara.

  • Make a scepter with a doll rod and a foam ball or star for the top.  Girls can decorate their own scepter with ribbon and colors to match the crown or tiara.

  • Purchase inexpensive picture frames.  Use foam lettering or printed words to write out, “Who’s the fairest princess of all?”  Put a picture of each girl or a group picture of the girls in the frame as a thankful gesture to the attendees.

  • Create large, attractive rings.  You can buy cheap ring decorations in the wedding section of a party store.  Get large plastic jewels and hot glue one jewel to each ring.

  • Design diamond necklaces or allow the girls to create their own.  With some clear, silver or gold necklace string and a variety of beads, girls can create something that matches their big, beautiful ring and tiara.  They can make necklaces and earrings to match.
