How to Design and Print Club Flyers
Flyers are utilized to promote an event or to notify the public of a situation. Club owners utilize these design concepts to inform patrons of upcoming events or promotions. The club flyer is then placed in the window of the establishment.
- Establish the details of the event you are advertising and promoting. Determine the time and date for the event. Establish the cover charge for the event. Determine what drink specials or menu specials are available during the event.
- Open your preferred word processing program.
- Locate clipart or a photo relevant to the event you are advertising and promoting. Insert the clipart or the photo into the flyer document. Click "Picture from file" under the Insert Menu. Select the name assigned to the clipart or photo file. Click and draw to place the clipart or photo to place it within the desired location.
- Begin setting up your club flyer design. Establish and type an event heading for the event into the flyer. For instance, type "Welcome (band name) to (club name)" if the event is a concert.
- Enter the details of the event itself. These details include the date and the time frame for the event. For instance if the event lasts from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. list this information next to "Time."
- Create a list on the flyer for any drink or menu specials offered during the event. Enter the time frame in which these specials are offered.
- Save your club flyer design by selecting "Save As." Enter a name for this file and click "Save." Print the desired number of flyers.
