This procedure is done from behind and you must use your opponent’s uniform in order to complete the procedure.
- Start by mounting the opponent from the back placing your right arm directly in front of the opponent’s neck. Make sure that you take a firm hold on the opponent’s collar with the thumb inside and the fingers outside giving you a deep grip on your opponent.
- At this point, you will need to put your left hand under the opponents left armpit in order to take hold of the other side of the collar. You will need this step in order to make sure that there is no slack in the collar while you are applying the chokehold to your opponent.
- You will then be able to pull your right elbow back and push your left hand directly down this will complete the chokehold rendering your opponent helpless.
When you are teaching this procedure, keep the hold maneuver just a short amount of time because this is a very dangerous move. Make sure that you know how to do this procedure correctly because if you do not it could end up causing someone to be hurt very badly.
