How to Email to Fax Number in Microsoft Outlook
Sending documents via fax through an email service provides you with the convenience of sending information without wasting paper by printing. Although there are a few different types of software you can use to accomplish this, Microsoft Outlook is one of the easiest options.
- Open the “Internet Fax” option in Microsoft Outlook and choose the program you wish to use. If you already have a service that you use, skip this step and proceed with the next.
- Create a new message and enter the recipient’s information in the appropriate field. Depending on the exact service you use, you may be required to enter the actual fax number, or this recipient may alternatively have an email fax number that you must enter. With the email fax number, you are required to type “746846392@provider.com." If you wish to send it to more than one person, enter a comma in between each number or email address. If you wish to send the fax message to multiple people without them seeing the other person’s contact information, enter each address or number in the BCC field.
- Type the message you wish to send and prepare it to be sent. If you wish to attach a document that has already been created, type your cover letter in the body of the email message and attach the file to the message.
- Send the email to the fax number or fax email number you have entered and wait for the delivery confirmation.
