How to Find Affordable Landscapers Online

People are concerned with the appearance of their landscaping because it is the first thing that others notice while arriving at a home or driving by a home.  First impressions are important, and if you want your home’s landscaping to make a good first impression you will want to find a good affordable landscaper online.

  1. Open up the web browser and go to a search engine like Google, MSN, or Yahoo. Type in the keywords “landscaper (your city),” and a list of different companies should come up. Click on the different company websites and view their information. Write down or bookmark the companies websites that you are interested in.

  2. Search for “Yellow Pages” and click on that website. Type in "landscaping companies" or "lawn companies" and the zip code or city that you are residing in, and a list with phone numbers and addresses will appear. Write down a few companies that you want to call.

  3. Take your list and bookmarks of landscaping companies and call each one. Tell them what services you are looking for, and ask them to email you or send you a quote with all of the costs broken down for you to see. Ask them how long the quote is good for and if there are any promotions going on or coming up in the near future.

  4. Ask your friends and family members online through Facebook or email what landscapers they use or recommend that you use. You could get referral discounts or they may get a price break on their services.

  5. Request that each landscaper email you pictures of some previous work so that you can see if their work is quality and if it suits your personal tastes and needs. Also request some references that you can contact.

  6. Compare the different quotes with each other and narrow down the different options. Pick two different landscaping companies that you would hire and send them the other company's quote. Ask them if they would be willing to come in at a lower offer and wait for both of them to give you a new quote.

  7. Chose the company that is going to meet both your landscaping needs and also your financial needs. Be sure that they are an insured company, in case anything is to go wrong with their services or with your landscaping.
