- Shop at designer discount stores. Just because it is a discount store does not mean that the clothes are not designer quality. Discount is not a dirty word and although the store may not be as elegant as the designer shops are if you search through the racks you are certain to find designer names that please you at more than half of the cost.
- Take your time and compare prices if you are shopping at an online store. Yes, it may take some research but you can get great designer clothes online if you are willing to search for them. So don’t order from the first one you see. Take your time. It will be well worth it.
- Shop at a teenage store. Stores are smart they know what the teens of today or wearing. Although it may not be a designer label, it will be fashionable and in style and most, importantly it will be at an affordable price. Just be careful with sizing, as teen’s clothes tend to run smaller.
- Buy some style magazines to see what the “latest” is. If you can sew then get to work if not take the pictures to a tailor and have them do the work for you. It will cost but not near as much as buying the actual brand would.
- Search the sales at the major department stores. You can get designer stuff cheaply when they have a sale or clearance.
